Not So Quiet Day has evolved from "Quiet Day." When the girls and young women get to gether as part of the diocese, they like to make new friends and renew old friendlships.

St. John's was well represented. Margaret Nolde played piano for the Eucharist, GFS girls served as ushers and acolytes. The Rev. Barbara Stewart was the celebrant and several members of the parish were there also.

After almost two years as a chapter, the St. Julian of Norwich, Daughters of the King and friends took a "field trip." Visiting the J. Paul Getty Center in Los Angeles to tour, view and learn more about Byzantine icons. Seeing theses icons outside of the Holy Monastery of Saint Catherine's in the shadow of Mount Sinai in Egypt, is a rare opportunity. These icons offer a glimpse into Christianity as seen by the world's oldest continuously operating Christian monastery.

The ECW plans and makes this dinner happen each year. Theis year the proceeds will go to provideing scholarships to Camp Stevens for children. Most of these photos were provided by Duke and Diane Swarts.
